Eco-Friendly Design

🌱 Sustainable Materials, Thoughtful Design

In an effort to reduce our environmental impact, the Bushkill Bee Vac is built using locally grown, harvested, and naturally dried pine for most of its construction. This approach drastically lowers the environmental footprint compared to commercially harvested, kiln-dried lumber that’s transported long distances.

All plywood components are made from 100% plantation-grown, sustainable hardwoods—with absolutely no tropical hardwoods. That means our products do not contribute to deforestation of the world’s rainforests.

♻️ Minimal Waste, Maximum Purpose

To further reduce waste, we embrace the natural character of wood. Discoloration, knots, and minor imperfections may be visible—but rest assured, no structural or functional areas of the bee vac are affected. Every vac is built to commercial-grade woodenware standards: tough, durable, and ready for the field.

What you’ll see is wood with personality—what you’ll get is a tool that lasts.

Each Bushkill Bee Vac is constructed with rabbet joints at all corners, glued with exterior waterproof adhesive, and reinforced with staples for added strength and durability. This method of construction ensures your bee vac will withstand years of use—so long as it’s not subjected to abuse.
